Content Marketing Professional (m/w/d)

80 % (permanent employment contract, starting by arrangement)

Your tasks

  • As a key member of the Central Marketing team, you will ensure high-quality, consistent content delivery across all channels and formats. You will work closely with faculty, programme directors and institutional partners to translate the intellectual capital of the University into engaging, accessible and credible narratives for the target audience of the Executive School. This includes:
  • Develop and implement a content strategy and editorial roadmap for the Executive School, aligned with key topics, priority markets and ecosystem partnerships.
  • Plan and coordinate end-to-end content production across multiple formats (e.g. articles, interviews, videos, podcasts, newsletters, webinars, social media).
  • Design and manage faculty marketing initiatives that highlight the expertise of our professors and programme leaders on relevant topics and platforms.
  • Support the entire Executive School faculty and programme portfolio with hands-on marketing execution, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with brand standards.
  • Support to refine messaging and value propositions for key programmes and strategic initiatives in collaboration with business development and communication teams.
  • Contribute thought leadership content to partnership platforms such as HSG Alumni, the St.Gallen Symposium, and other global and regional ecosystem partners.
  • Establish automated content workflows, best practices, and performance metrics to ensure efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of digital platforms and tools, using technology to enhance visibility, engagement and content impact across all channels.

Your profile

  • The ideal candidate combines conceptual strength, editorial talent and a strategic mindset with an organised, hands-on approach. This is a collaborative, execution-oriented role for someone who enjoys working closely with multiple stakeholders while maintaining editorial excellence and brand coherence. This includes:
  • Several years of experience in content strategy, communications or B2B marketing in a knowledge-driven environment (e.g. executive education, consulting, media, professional services, business networks or think tanks).
  • Proven ability to work effectively with senior academics and corporate stakeholders, turning complex ideas into clear, engaging and business-relevant content.
  • Strong storytelling, writing and editorial planning skills across digital channels.
  • Technical proficiency with modern marketing and publishing tools, CRM systems and analytics platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German, both spoken and written, with sensitivity to tone and audience.
  • Structured, reliable and agile working style, with the ability to manage multiple projects and work streams in parallel.
  • Genuine interest in leadership, strategy, governance, and lifelong learning.
  • A proactive, collaborative attitude, driven by curiosity, quality and impact.
