Peer Writing Tutor (m/f/d)

Your tasks

Provide writing support at our Writing Helpdesk (Tuesdays, 17–19) and special events (Citation Day, Night of Writing Skills).
 

Your profile

You must be a native speaker of English or a true bilingual. A good working knowledge of German would be a further asset. You will either be completing your bachelor's degree or beginning your master's. We expect a robust knowledge of academic writing and the English language, good interpersonal skills, as well as a genuine willingness to advise other students. You will be able to earn a certificate as a “Peer Writing Tutor.”
The HSG Writing Lab (Centre for Academic Writing) promotes academic writing skills at the University of St.Gallen. We offer support at all levels of study and work closely with faculty and programme directors.
Our mission is to develop writing tools and resources tailored to the needs of students at all levels. We also hold special events and offer workshops on specific aspects of academic writing.
