PhD Position in Corporate Governance with a focus on Compensation and Leadership (m/f/d)
Your tasks
The Chair of Corporate Governance, Prof. Michèle F. Sutter-Rüdisser, at the Institute of Law & Economics at the University of St.Gallen, Switzerland, is inviting applications for a PhD Position in Management.
A specific focus of your PhD will be on Compensation and Leadership, a topic we pursue in depth with our NICG-collaboration partner HCM International Ltd.
As member of our team, your core tasks include:
- to participate in innovative research and publication
- to develop and organize interesting partner activities within the Network for Innovative Corporate Governance (www.nicg.net)
- to engage and support with our teaching activities
Your profile
- You are passionate for the topic “Corporate Governance with a focus on Compensation and Leadership”
- You bring along an intellectual curiosity, an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for excellence and motivation for high quality research
- Your working style is independent and reliable, with strong analytical thinking and a goal-oriented approach
- You acquired (or about to complete) a Master's degree in business or a related field with excellent grades and gained initial practical experience through internships or professional experience
- You have good communication and presentation skills in German and/or English, preferably as a native speaker.
