Your tasks
- Support research and industry projects in the field of Operational Excellence
- Contribute to the execution and further development of the St.Gallen Operational Excellence Benchmarking
- Analyze operational performance data and identify improvement opportunities
- Conduct market, competitor, and successful practice analyses
- Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and management deliverables
- Assist in workshops, company visits, and interactions with industry partners
- Support project management activities, including planning, coordination, and follow-up
- Research current developments in manufacturing, operations, and Operational Excellence
Your profile
- Advanced studies in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong interest in manufacturing, operations, and Operational Excellence
- Initial practical experience in industrial companies through internships or student jobs is an advantage
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in data analytics, statistics, or programming is a plus

Our Operational Excellence research group supports industrial companies in improving their operational performance and competitiveness. Our work focuses on benchmarking, performance management, maturity assessments, production strategy, quality management, and continuous improvement.
As an intern, you will support our Operational Excellence team in research, benchmarking, and industry projects with renowned companies from the pharmaceutical, chemical, consumer goods, and manufacturing industries.
