Your tasks

Manage and strategically plan all social media for the University of St. Gallen MBA (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.), with particular emphasis on identifying storylines and creative ideation/conceptualization/execution that drives measurable engagement of MBA applicants.

  • Responsible for the Talent Acquisition in the MBA program. Arrange and host in-person information sessions with prospective applicants in key recruitment geographies globally, including Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Greece, Eastern Europe, and countries in North America, Latin America, and Asia Pacific. Acting as the primary traveler for international in-person recruitment, with the aim of recruiting applicants and to fill the MBA programs.
  • Responsible for the MBA program representation at international recruitment fairs and conferences, such as those organized by QS, Access MBA, MBA Tour, E-fellows, and other providers, to answer questions from prospective applicants about the MBA program curriculum, career outcomes, financing options, and other topics that are influential to enrollment decisions, with the aim of assessing quality and converting qualified attendees into applicants.
  • Responsible for the review of applications, including verifying transcripts, work experience, references, standardized test scores, English test scores, conducting and scoring case-based interviews on Teams, and participating in decisions regarding offers of admission and scholarship. Maintain confidentiality of these sensitive data throughout the application process.
  • Responsible for CRM, to track and communicate with leads and applicants (virtual and phone calls that convert applicants, sending campaign emails, monitoring trends in data, etc.), achieving key conversion metrics and ultimately enrolling full classes of the highest quality students possible.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree is a must. Master's degree is a plus.
  • At least 2 years of work experience in recruiting applicants for a Top 100 ranked MBA program with a tuition level in excess of CHF 50'000.
  • General understanding of the education environment is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years living & working experience in key recruitment geographic regions (Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Asia, China) to resonate with our candidates and to interact respectfully with people across diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
  • At least 5 years of successful experience in representing at international events and fairs and establishing new client relationships.
  • At least 1-2 years profound experience working with social media as a creator (filming, editing, copywriting, managing accounts) and demonstrated willingness to star in the content (speaking to camera, interviewing on camera, recording voiceover, etc.).
  • Proven track and success record of gaining followers as potential candidates for an MBA program through social media channels.
  • Demonstrated track record to meet competitive monthly and yearly recruiting targets tied to revenue and rankings and to cope with uncertainty and pressure.
  • Work experience with CRM and application systems (i.e., Full Fabric, Salesforce, etc.) is a must, converting prospective leads through a conversion funnel to submitted applications and enrolled students, and knowledge of corresponding data protection policies and laws.
  • Fluent in English, for internal and external target groups is a must. Knowledge of spoken English for daily interactions with applicants and colleagues.
  • Good knowledge of Spanish is a must
  • Fluent conversational knowledge of Chinese is required.
  • Any additional language of strategic importance for interactions with applicants in key growth markets of Latin America, China, and Central Asia is a plus.
  • Proven track record and willingness to regularly travel within Switzerland and internationally (30% travel required) and to regularly work on evenings and weekends.
  • Legal understanding for recognizing and handling the confidential nature of personal data shared with us.
  • An eye for detail in both numeric data and aesthetic design, and an ability to connect both to demonstrated impact of social media campaigns on strategic goals at the MBA.
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset and a proven track record of independently taking projects into your own hands.
  • Engaging, outgoing, and polished presentation style that resonates with our global audience of high potential young business leaders.
