Student Assistant (m/f/d)

20-30 % ( by 01.08.2025 or upon agreement)

Your tasks

  • Assisting with empirical research in two different SNF projects, including tasks such as data collection, cleaning, and analysis
  • Supporting the preparation and administration of a survey among Swiss early childcare facilities
  • Conducting literature reviews
  • Providing occasional support for teaching activities

Your profile

  • Currently enrolled in the Economics Major (3rd year) or the MEcon/MiQEF program at the University of St.Gallen
  • Strong academic performance
  • Strong interest in applied economic research and social policy topics
  • Good knowledge in R. Experience in STATA and Qualtrics are an asset
  • Proficiency in German and English are compulsory, any additional Swiss language is an asset
We are seeking a motivated student assistant to support the team of Prof. Beatrix Eugster in ongoing research projects. The main areas of research include health and labor economics, applied econometrics, and public economics.
Hereby, the working hours are flexible and can be arranged upon agreement. Ideally, the position will be held for at least one year.
