Working Student position at the Chair of Health Economics, Policy and Management (m/f/d)
Your tasks
As a working student, you will
- Support experienced researchers in data pre-processing, descriptive statistics, and data analysis using large datasets from the Swiss Federal Statistics Office (over 15 million observations of patient data)
- Support the team with data visualization)
- Have the opportunity to contribute to a research project with potential real-world impact
- Show initiative and drive your tasks with high motivation
Your profile
- Master or Bachelor student in a later semester in an economics or computer science program with a quantitative focus
- Solid quantitative skills including working knowledge of a programming language (e.g. R, python, stata, matlab) and a motivation to improve your technical skillset
- Experience with Ubuntu (Server) is a plus
- Result-oriented working style with a high degree of initiative, creativity, and team spirit
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken; German is a plus.
