Senior Strategic Talent Acquisition Manager , Open Programmes - ES HSG (m/w/d)

Your tasks

  • Lead and continuously optimize the full talent acquisition pipeline from first contact to enrolment, using a consultative, sales-driven approach.
  • Represent Open Programmes-HSG at key events and build strong relationships with candidates, partners, and international recruitment networks. 
  • Drive and co-shape our strategic talent acquisition roadmap in close collaboration with Programme Directors and the Head of Marketing & Sales.
  • Oversee and refine admissions processes, ensuring high quality, data-driven decision-making and smooth candidate journeys.
  • Contribute to strategic business development through market insights, competitive analysis, and targeted recruitment initiatives.
  • Enhance digital tools, CRM systems, and reporting structures to increase transparency and conversion performance.
  • Provide senior expertise during admissions interviews and support programme teams during peak seasons.
  • Builds, implements and manages international sales networks strategically to support organizational sales targets.
  • Maintain high standards across admissions communication, documentation, and process quality.

Your profile

  • University degree (Master's preferred)
  • Several years of senior experience in international higher education recruitment, admissions, or executive education. 
  • Proven track record in building, implementing, and managing international sales or recruitment networks, ideally across multiple markets and stakeholder groups. 
  • Strong ability to thrive in a high-paced, target-driven environment, with a focus on measurable results and conversion. 
  • Strategic and analytical mindset, capable of translating market insights into recruitment and admissions strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and high-level candidates. 
  • High degree of autonomy, ownership, and self-management, with experience steering complex processes independently.
  • Strong competency in data-driven decision-making, and pipeline management to ensure transparency and performance tracking. 
  • Willingness to travel for events, partner meetings, and strategic outreach activities)
The Executive School of Management, Technology and Law (ES HSG) is the University of St. Gallen's point of contact for continuing education. It is therefore not only responsible for HSG's continuing education offerings to external parties but also plays a coordinating role internally.
